  • William Hall had settled this area in 1830 and since then the place had been known as The Crossing and Horne's Road.

  • The museum is across from Halifax International Airport (Exit 6, Hwy. 102) at Enfield and contains a comprehensive collection of aircraft from the '60s to '80s, weapons, uniforms, photos and medals.

There are also 24 vintage aircraft, including the famous Silver Dart, first heavier-than-air flight in the British Commonwealth.

The non-profit museum is owned and operated by volunteer members and was designed to inform the visitor about the aviation heritage of Atlantic Canada. There is a gift shop and admission is by donation.
