5345 HIGHWAY 289 |
Nova Scotia Tourism Region : Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley
Description From Owner:
- It was so named in 1866. Robert Taylor and John Blair owned land here before 1792.
- Southvale: So named by the location in the S meadow of the South Branch Stewiacke River. In the early 1800s Robert Morrison, tongue in cheek, named the place Goshen because this was a rocky area. William Putnam built a gristmill here in 1790.
