Nova Scotia Tourism Region : Yarmouth and Acadian Shores
- Named for Job Reynard, who received a grant on the Tusket River in 1828.
- Variations of the name were Rainerton, Reynard Bridge and Raynard's Falls. Acadian families from Tusket fled here for refuge after the deportation order in 1755 and established a compact village.
